Quick Tip
Doing shoulder exercises immediately after working your chest with bench presses is not optimal. The various types of bench presses use a lot of the same muscles as are used in standard shoulder presses. Give shoulders their own training day, or work them on "non-chest" days. Working the deltoids when they are fresh will result in you using significantly more poundage or in being able to squeeze out extra reps.
