SWIMMING EFFICIENCY A simple way to measure your efficiency in the pool is to play a game of "Swolf" (swimming golf). Pick a testing distance you want to use. This could be any distance from 50 to 500 meters. Time how long it takes to complete the distance and also count the number of strokes you take. Add the two numbers together to get your Swolf score. As your technique improves, you should take fewer strokes and be able to complete the distance in less time. You will reduce your "handicap" and become more efficient in no time.
